Cat Deeley juggles work, home and divorce with help from ‘an amazing nanny’ and shared parenting

Deeley, who hosts a major talent show in the UK, admits the juggling act is not always easy. Between early call times, school runs, and travel for work, she relies heavily on a nanny she describes as absolutely amazing. But she is quick to point out that the real foundation is the partnership she and Kielty have built since their divorce. They split time with their children 50/50, and both make a point of being present for the everyday moments, not just the big ones.

Kielty, a comedian and presenter, says they have learned to communicate better now than when they were together. He jokes that they have become experts at handovers, with a shared calendar that leaves little room for confusion. The key, he says, is putting the kids first and never making them feel caught in the middle.
